Clases?

Clases?

What is your idea on classes? Will you implement them at all? Go Diablo 2 or Path of exile way? From my point of view I would prefer somthing in the middle. PoE is too complex and it's relly frustrating when mid game your character just dosen't work and D2 was mybe too simplistic and restrctive. So yee, what is your idea for Hellpoint classes? :)

Right now, for the purpose of our demo, we have "classes".

But we are planning "no class" for the final game. Which mean, everybody starts with 1 in all stats, and it's up to you to build the character on how you want to play.
Our biggest challenge here will be to make no build weak or too weak. Unlike other games, you can also be a tank with spells, or a fast ninja with a huge firearm.

Why you are doing no class? Why do not make it like diablo style?

You build your own class. Would you prefer to start with a pre-made class?

Hey gogromnas!

Well in fact for the final game we're planning various "playthrough path" throughout the station that leads you towards certain weapons, armor, items, builds in the end, and requires you to build your strength and weaknesses depending on which enemies you intend to face next (once your're starting to know the game world). You complete your builds at crafting stations using the blueprints and material that you found in your travels. What you choose when starting a new character is the gene manipulations that you want to apply for starting attributes and favorable progression path. There are quite a lot of build planning methods and how to optimize them.

I think that pre made classes would be good. But you should give an option to develop them in any other way a player likes
